Rates

A case-by-case approach is taken for determining the scope and cost of each project. This means that your goals, timeline (deadline!) and budget is taken into account to ensure that your specific editing needs are addressed at an affordable cost.

A formal quotation will be provided once a sample (3-5 pages in Microsoft Word file format) of your work has been reviewed. A quotation will always include any necessary revisions.

For any document of more than 10 pages, a 50% deposit will be required upfront. The remaining balance will only be due once you are satisfied with the service provided.

Comprehensive language editing

  • From R250 per 1000 words (25c per word)

Technical editing

  • From R180 per 1000 words (18c per word)

Basic proofreading

  • From R150 per 1000 words (15c per word)

Reference auditing

  • From R180 per 1000 words (18c per word)
